Reporting a problem
Describe what you expected and what happened. Include your browser, device, layout and level, and the puzzle number if you were playing a daily puzzle. A screenshot can help, but check that it does not include personal information.
For an unexpected result, mention whether you used a hint, undo, shuffle or Rewind. You do not need to share your browser storage or any account credentials.
Missing progress?
Check that you opened the same website address in the same browser. Private browsing and cleared browser data can remove saved progress. If Mahjong Dawn was opened in another tab, use Reload saved game to continue from the latest save.
The game currently has no cloud backup. We cannot recover a save that your browser has deleted.
A difficult board?
Hint suggests a pair that keeps the board winnable and explains why it helps. If a board can no longer be cleared, the dead-end warning offers Rewind to your last winnable position or a shuffle of the remaining tiles. The strategies guide explains how to avoid the most common traps.
